Credits are not usually issued under flat rate subscriptions. Usually students are paying a flat rate to buy into your studio experience(ala the david cutler "savvy music teacher" method...great book btw) They know they are paying x amount per period of time.. and that you've factored in a few missed lessons, sick days, and vacations into your rate. Clients can still cancel or request a reschedule(if your office hours are set up).. as a courtesy to you and to keep your schedule accurate.
Additionally, Fons does not have a built-in makeup credit tracker. However, you can manage missed lessons and makeup credits by planning your annual schedule, marking absences, and using manual logs or external tools to track owed lessons. This ensures accurate records and fair billing for your students.
To Issue a Credit
Navigate to the client
In the Appointment Setup area, click on the green pencil
Select "Edit Subscription"
Change the cost
Save or Save & Notify
Don't forget to change the cost back once they have received the lower rate
