If you see the following message after entering a client "This client is already using Fons and must confirm their membership before they can be billed for services."
What does that message mean?
There are many clients that use providers of different Fons organizations like for music lessons, tutoring, personal training and other services. This is a security feature for your client giving you permission to charge an existing payment method they already have on file. Fons requires clients to confirm their membership before billing can proceed as a precautionary measure, ensuring that only authorized transactions occur. This is particularly important if the client is already associated with another organization on Fons or has previously been removed from this organization.
What to Do?
Your client will get an email to confirm your organization they simply click the link, log into Fons and click the "thumbs up" in their Tasks list and alternatively without the email they can log into their Fons account and in their ToDo click the "thumbs up" Follow these steps for confirmation:
Log in to your Fons account.
Navigate to your ToDo list or Tasks section.
Locate the confirmation task for your organization.
Click the button to confirm membership and authorize billing. If the email or app is inaccessible, clients can provide written consent from their registered email account, authorizing confirmation on their behalf.
