There are a couple of ways to get your clients set up in Fons. For more details, check out the Onboarding Help Guide.
Note: Adding a client does not automatically send them notifications. This setup wizard will guide you into choosing how each client should be billed for lessons. When setting a client’s default billing method, you’ll have the option to “Preview,” then “Save,” or “Save & Notify” the client. If you’re brand new and still in Setup Mode, no messages will be sent until you click Go Live.
Option 1: Set Up Clients Manually
Log in to Fons.
Click the green + New button and select Create Client.
Enter the student information.
Toggle the Student Type:
Adult – enter their email address and time zone.
Child – choose one:
Existing – search or scroll through your client list and select.
New – enter their name and email.
Complete the wizard to finish the student’s setup.
Option 2: Import Clients
If you have 50+ clients already in a spreadsheet, send it to us as a .csv file and we’ll be happy to import them for you. This usually takes 1–2 business days.
Minimum requirements to create a client:
First name
Last name
Email address
