If you're having trouble signing in to Fons, this guide will help you get back into your account quickly.
Common Login Issues
Before troubleshooting, make sure you are not:
Using browser auto-filled passwords or old bookmarked links
Copying/pasting your email or password
Trying to create a password when you originally logged in with Google
If you’re a client, your provider can confirm which email you used to sign up.
Note: Providers cannot change a client's login email address.
Logging In With Google
If you signed up using Google, you must continue logging in with Google.
The Forgot Password option will not work because no Fons-specific password exists yet.
After logging in with Google, you can update your login email inside your account if needed.
Can’t Log In or Create a Password?
If your email is already registered:
Option 1:
Click any login link inside an email from Fons — this lets you create a password and sign in.
Option 2:
Visit https://fons.app and select Sign Up.
If the email is already in the system, Fons will recognize it and allow you to create a password instead of creating a new account.
Resetting Your Password
You can reset your password in two ways:
1️⃣ Reset From the Login Screen
Go to https://fons.app
Enter your email
Select Reset Password
Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the reset link
Click the link and create your new password
Note: If the email isn’t in our system or you originally used Google to authenticate your account, you will not receive a reset email.
2️⃣ Reset From Inside Your Account
If you're already logged in:
Go to Settings → Personal → Password
Select Send Email
Open the email and follow the link to update your password
Password Requirements
Your new password must include:
Minimum 9 characters
At least 1 lowercase letter
At least 1 number
At least 1 special character (!@#$%^&*)
No more than 2 identical characters in a row
