Troubleshoot Login Issues / Reset Password

If you are having issues logging in don't:

  • Rely on browser saved addresses or passwords

  • Don't copy and paste an email address or password

If you are a client you can also ask your provider for your login address if you are unsure of which one you used. Note: a provider cannot change your login address

If you originally signed up or logged in with Google, you’ll need to continue using your Google credentials to log in.

Just a heads-up: the Fons “Forgot Password” option won’t work for Google-authenticated accounts, since no Fons-specific password was ever set — so you won’t receive a password reset email.


There are 2 ways to reset your password

Note: Password requirements

  • No more than 2 identical characters in a row

  • One special character(!@#$%^&*)

  • One lower case

  • One number

  • Must be at least 9 characters in length

Change at the Login Screen

  1. Navigate to https://fons.app

  2. Enter you email->enter or next

  3. Click "Reset Password"

    • This will send you send you a password reset link - may go to spam

    • If there is not an email address in the system, you will not receive an email

  4. Find the email and click on the Reset Password link


Change from within Fons

  1. While logged in to Fons, navigate to Settings->Personal->Password Tab

  2. Click "SEND EMAIL"

    • This will send you send you a password reset link - may go to spam

  3. Find the email and click on the Reset Password link
